For the second time in three years, Dr. Phillips High School’s Athletic Department has been crowned the winner of the Orlando Sentinel’s Varsity Cup, presented to the top athletic program in their Central Florida coverage area. DP edged Lake Highland Prep to claim the title and caps one of the best years in school history. DP won all three major program awards: Metro West Conference All-Sports Award, Orlando Sentinel Varsity Cup and the Class 8A FHSAA All-Sports Award.
