Justin Tordi

Justin Tordi was a standout Baseball player for DP from 1999 -2002. He set the school record with home runs in a season with 10 and was one of the best fielding shortstops in the state.Justin Tordi

Tordi attended the University of Florida on scholarship, earned second-team All-SEC honors and helped lead the Gators to what was then their best season in program history, which included a national runner-up finish in the 2005 College World Series. Tordi was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2005 MLB Draft and played four years  in their minor league organization, finishing up with the Carolina Mudcats in 2009.   

After his playing career concluded, Tordi began to move up in the coaching ranks and most recently signed with the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees organization) in 2016 as a defensive coach.
