Calvin McCall
McCall was named ACC Rookie of the Week twice while shattering virtually all of Maryland's freshmen offensive records. In fact, he finished second in the voting for ACC Rookie of the Year and was second nationally among all Division I freshmen quarterbacks in passing efficiency and total offense. McCall would return to the hardwood in 2000 as a walk-on for Maryland's basketball team and contributed significantly to the Terrapins' Final Four appearance in 2001 and their National Championship in 2002. He was elected to the Dr. Phillips High School Hall of Fame in 2005.
