Troy Rolle

Troy Rolle was a remarkable athlete and one of the best basketball players to come through Dr. Phillips' storied program. Rolle was instrumental in establishing the Panther Basketball dynasty that has contnued to this day. He led the Panthers to four straight Metro Conference Championships before capping his career as Dr. Phillips High School's Most Outstanding Male Athlete in 1995.  Troy Rolle

Rolle played college basketball at Utah State where he started 61 of 62 games in in his career, reaching double figures in scoring 46 times and hitting the 20 point mark five times. As a senior, he averaged 12.0 points and 4.3 rebounds, starting all 34 games. He was named First Team All-Big West Conference and earned co-MVP honors in the 2000 Big West Tournament. He also led Utah State in their NCAA Tournament game against Connecticut with 18 points and 5 rebounds. 

After his senior season, Rolle was invited to the Orlando Magic's training camp in 2000 before joing the Mobile Revelers and later, the Roanoke Dazzlers of the NBA Developmental League.
