Kirsten Holz

Kirsten Holz was a three-year varsity letterman in Women's Swimming and was a member of three State Championship teams from 1997-1999.  Holz set school records in the 100 backstroke, 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle and as a member of the 400 freestyle relay team.  She was a two-time State Champion, in the 200 freestyle (1998) and the 500 freestyle (1999) as wellKirsten Holz as a State Runner-Up in the 200 freestyle in 1999.  Holz earned NISCA All-American status for both events in 1998 and 1999 as well as All-Orange County and All-Central Florida honors.

In 1998, Holz earned the Dr. Phillips Coaches Award, the Burger King Coaches Achievement Award, earned the Best Total Times form all high school events and graduated with a 3.7 GPA.  After graduation, she swam at the University of Miami and Cornell University, where she was team captain.  She is now an attorney in Orlando and was inducted into the Dr. Phillips Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011.
