Paul Reed

Paul Reed was a 6-8 forward that left an idelible mark on Panther Basketball.  As a key member of DP's Final Four teams of 1996 and 1997, Reed set four school records, including career rebounds (689). His 14 baskets in one game in 1997 still stands as an individual game record while his record of six blocks in a single game stood for 17 years.

Reed parlayed his impressive credentials into a basketball scholarship to Old Dominion but transferred to UCF after his freshman year. Over his career, Paul Reed averaged over ten points and six rebounds per game for the Knights, including a monster performance vs. Marist in 2001, where he totaled 17 points and a career-high 20 rebounds. He is one of only five UCF players to total more than 600 rebounds in his career and is also a member of the school's 1,000 point club.
