Seresaa Setzer

Seresaa Setzer etched her name into the annals of Dr. Phillips history as aSeresaa Setzer three-sport athlete in Volleyball, Basketball and Track and Field...and she excelled at all three of them. She set school records in Track and Field in both triple jump (39' 8.5") and high jump (5'4"), which are the longest standing female records in school history across all sports. Setzer was also an exceptional Basketball player but Volleyball and Track earned her a dual athletic scholarship to the University of North Carolina. In 1989, she was named the Dr. Phillips Female Athlete of the Year and Metro Conference Athlete of the Year as well. At North Carolina, she helped the Tar Heels earn the 1989 ACC Women's Volleyball Championship and in 2000, Setzer was elected to the inaugural class of the Dr. Phillips High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
