2017 Men's Country placed 11th at the State Championship; Women's Cross Country placed 14th

Men's Cross Country 11th at State

Senior Luis Ortiz placed 12th in the field of 191 runners to lead Men's Cross Country an 11th-place team finish at the State Championship in Tallahassee Saturday morning. Ortiz finished in 16:04  to lead the DP contingent with senior Bo Ivey placing 69th in 17:09. Junior Josh Matzner finished in 86th place at 17:23 and senior Micah Martin cracked the top 100 as well with a 17:30 finish. Sophomore Kervenster Azor came home with the fifth scoring time, 17:44, while junior Anthony Venturini was just four seconds behind in 17:48 and freshman Adam Berriz finished up the squad in 18:24. Tremendous year for head coach Laura Kirkikis and the Panthers that saw exceptional senior leadership combined with a strong commitment from the younger classes that makes the future look extremely strong for DP Cross Country!
