Sophomore striker Chloe Washington (2017)

Women's Soccer rolls over Ocoee
12/5/2017 10:34:00 PM

Sophomore Chloe Washington put Women's Soccer on the board just 39 seconds into their match with Ocoee and added another three goals in the first half as the Panthers hammered visiting Ocoee, 8-0. Washington's career-high four goals were only half the fun for DP (8-0) as freshmen Jill Ross and Hanna Hodak tacked on two more goals for a 6-0 lead at the half. In the second half, senior Carmel de Oliveira scored a pair of goals in just five minutes to end the game on a mercy rule. DP has now outscored its opponents 34-1 in the eight-game streak and will look to add to the streak Thursday at Wekiva. In JV Soccer action, captain Marina Guimaraes secured a hat trick and Auriella Wolfgramm knocked home two more goals as DP battered Ocoee, 6-0, to remain unbeaten at 3-0-2. Freshman Ava Logan added a solo score to the barrage as well. JV will be back on the pitch Friday night leading off a doubleheader at East Ridge.
