DP (4-2) led 16-13 after the first quarter but Oak Ridge got their game rolling in the second half, pushing thir lead to 15 points. DP chipped the lead down to just four points with three minutes left in the fourth quarter but the Pioneers held on for the victory. JV Basketball was led by Justin Hunter’s 19 points and Jeremiah Barze added nine in a 63-54 victory over Oak Ridge, their third straight win, to improve to 3-2. Freshman Basketball remains undefeated (5-0) after a 49-37 victory over the host Pioneers. Credit Jalen Jackson with a team-high 19 points while Ledger Hatch chipped in with 11. All three teams will be in action Friday night vs. Olympia. Don’t forget, at halftime of the varsity game we will be honoring our 2017 Football State Championship team.
