Men's Polo tops Windermere, Edgewater

Men's Water Polo deposited 12 goals in the cage in the first quarter alone and cruised to their fourth consecutive victory, 23-6, over visiting Windermere. Max Meisenheimer logged nine goals, two assists and four steals and Adrian Britto came off the bench to score four goals with a pair of steals. Alex Kaiser, Collin Haugh and Raphael Sessa scored two goals each with Haugh picking up an assist and a steal while Sessa registered a pair of steals. Dan Magrino scored a goal, assisted on four more and collected three steals while James Sweet scored one, assisted on three and tallied four steals. Gavin Collins (goal, three assists) and Colin Bryant (goal, assist, steal) contributed well and goaltender Gabe Madej finished the game with eight saves and two assists.

In the second game of the doubleheader, host DP had no problems with Edgewater in a 24-3 victory that pushed the Panthers' record to 5-0. As they did in the opener, DP peppered the goal in the first period to the tune of 11 scores and added ten more in the second quarter. Max Meisenheimer scored six, assisted on six and kept his numbers consistent with six steals. Dan Magrino punched in four goals, assisted on three and picked up two steals. Colin Bryant also scored four goals with an assist and a steal and Adrian Britto added three goals, an assist and a steal. Raphael Sessa scored a pair, as did James Sweet while also collecting four steals. Solo goals go to Martin Arias, Collin Haugh and Alex Kaiser. Gabe Madej stopped six saves in goal. DP will host Ocoee Friday.
