2/21/2019 11:25:00 AM

Men’s Water Polo took on visiting Wekiva yesterday at the Aquatic Center and put 16 goals in the cage in the first half before substituting liberally in a 21-7 victory over the Mustangs. Senior James Sweet scored three goals and added four steals but the third steal was the most important as that gave him 238 for his career, eclipsing the school record set by 2015 graduate Evan Staton. Sweet now owns the steals record for both career and season (113). Senior Dan Magrino collected five goals, five steals and three assists while senior Max Meisenheimer finished the day with four goals and four assists. Sophomore Colin Bryant scored three goals and added a pair of steals while senior Gavin Collins added two goals, two assists and three steal. DP (6-1) also picked up solo goals from Max Collingwood (two assists, two steals), Brady Kossoff (three assists, two steals), Oliver Madej and Liam Ortiz. The Panthers will travel to College Park tonight to take on Edgewater.
