After dominating victories in the opening day of the 3rd annual Ian Supra Memorial Tournament, Men's Water Polo battled Miami Gulliver in the championship game but came up short, 14-9, to claim the runner-up trophy. DP looked sharp in the opening quarter, staking a 4-3 lead, but the visiting Raiders shut down the Panthers in both the second and third quarters, outscoring them 8-2, and held serve in the fourth for the victory. Gavin Collins led DP with three goals, Sole Fratila and Colin Bryant scored twice, with James Sweet and Adrian Britto picking up a goal apiece.

In the earlier semifinal game, DP had no such problems on either end of the pool in a 14-3 victory over Seminole. Sole Fratila scored on seven of ten shots to lead the offense while Dan Magrino (two goals, two assists, three steals), Gavin Collins (two goals), Adrian Britto (goal, three assists, steal), Max Meisenheimer (goal, assist, steal) and James Sweet (goal, assist, two steals) accounted for the rest of the Panthers' offense. Defensively, Colin Bryant led with four steals while Gabe Madej stopped seven shots in goal. DP (14-3) will celebrate Senior Day Wednesday against West Orange before flying to the Dan Lynch Classic in Chicago Thursday.
