Men's Lacrosse gets set to take on Olympia (2017)

Men's Lacrosse schools Celebration

Nic Zampaglione scored six goals and assisted on a seventh as Men's Lacrosse snapped a three-game slide and a scoring funk with a 23-5 demolition of host Celebration. Will Rodriguez tapped into four goals while Aziz Bessour notched a hat trick and three assists. Nick Payne and Nico Rodriguez scored thee apiece and each earned an assist as well. Joe Dobbs scored a goal and assisted on three while solo goals were announced for Fhang Jhang and Hayan Atassi, with Kevin Sugden picking up an assist. Defensively, Alexander Pineau gathered up eight groundballs and forced a team-high six turnovers. DP (5-3) will head over to Olympia Wednesday.

JV Lacrosse improved their record to 4-3 with a dominating 8-1 road victory over Celebration. Joe Joe Patti scored a team-high three goals  with Jalen Moore adding a pair as well. Plenty of stats to pass along, including solo goals by Gurpartap Singh, Aidan Cadiz and Matt Charles, Avery Feucht with an assist, Nick Colon with two caused turnovers and an assist and Kameryn Metcalf with two caused turnovers. Goaltender Andres Estrada picked up four saves and allowed no goals in his half of cage work. JV will get a break from competition and return to the field March 29th at Windermere.
