4/6/2019 12:06:00 PM

After a tough opening game loss to Miami Gulliver at the Ransom Invitational yesterday, Women's Water Polo bounced back with an 8-3 victory over Riviera Beach Suncoast in the nightcap. Ana Luisa Cotta led the Panthers with five goals and six steals, while Peyton Haines (two goals, two steals) and Hannah Harris (goal, two steals) rounded out the scoring. Sam Horency stopped six shots on goal and also picked up a steal as well. In the opening game, the Panthers ended with three late goals but Gulliver had too much, too early, in a 13-8 victory. Ana Luisa Cotta scored six of DP's eight goals to go with three steals while Hannah Harris scored twice and also added a steal. Sam Horency had a busy day in the cage with 12 saves, five steals and three assists. DP (15-7) will take on host Ransom and Miami Beach today to close out the tournament.
