Women's Lacrosse falls in District final
4/18/2019 11:50:00 AM

Women’s Lacrosse played far better than they did in an earlier meeting with Bishop Moore but it wasn’t enough as they fell, 9-3, to the host Hornets in the District Championship. DP (12-5). Zariah Durham (goal, four ground balls) and Kambria Barry (goal, four draw controls) both closed out their phenomenal DP careers and will move on to play in college next year. Michelle McGrath also scored a solo goal and scooped up three ground balls while Macy Forg stopped 11 shots on goal to give a glimpse of what the future holds for the sophomore. Congratulations to the ladies and to coach Tim Morse on a great season that finishes with a 12-5 record and the program’s third consecutive Metro Conference Championship!
