DP leads Metro West in academic race

Well the winter sports seasons have concluded and we’re proud to report that our athletic teams had a strong representation in the FHSAA’s Academic Team Championship standings once again.  Leading the way was our Women’s Soccer team with a cumulative un-weighted GPA of 3.482, good for 6th in the state in their sport, while Competitive Cheerleading finished third in the state with a team GPA of 3.349. As a program, DP leads the Academic Team Championship among the nine Metro West Conference schools, is third overall in the Metro Conference (East and West combined) and stands in fifth place statewide in Class 8A with 31 points!  Here’s the breakdown of our teams that qualified for consideration (minimum 3.0 GPA):
