Junior Kyle Marman pitched five scoreless innings, striking out nine, and the DP offense banged out 12 hits as Baseball throttled Cypress Creek, 10-1. The Panthers (3-4) posted two runs in the bottom of the first and that was all they needed. Matt Sullivan's single to right drove Nolan Lang to third and Lang subsequently scored on an error for the first run. Chase Cheek followed up with an RBI base hit to center to score Yasin Chentouf to make it 2-0 and the score would hold until the fourth inning. Ruben Saldana singled to lead off and scored on a double by Nic Strasser for a 3-0 lead and  Josh Jimenez would add to the barrage, scoring on a wild pitch. With one out, Matt Sullivan's fielder's choice brought home Strasser and one batter later, Yasin Chentouf, running for Sullivan, scored on Chase Cheek's RBI single to right. With a 6-0 lead, DP coasted into the sixth where they tacked on four more. Nick Mason doubled and scored on Matt Sullivan's shot to right and Yasin Chentouf scored his third run of the day on a wild pitch as the Panthers secured their second consecutive victory and upped their mark to 2-1 in District play. Cheek finished 3 for 3 with two RBI's; Strasser reached base four times with two singles, two walks and scored twice; Sullivan went 2 for 4 and knocked in three runs. All told, DP reached base 19 times in 35 plate appearances, drawing seven walks. They'll head down to Cypress Creek Friday to close out their season series.

JV Baseball allowed seven runs in the fourth inning alone but still managed to eke out a 7-7 tie with host Cypress Creek. Ryan Goonen pitched three scoreless innings while striking out five and Andrew Polansky pitched two scoreless innings to close out the game. Down 7-5 in the top of the fifth inning, Clayton Barefoot's bases loaded sacrifice fly drove in Graham Gardner and Theo Remsey followed up with another sacrifice fly bringing in Foster Gordon with the tying run. Gordon finished the day 2 for 4 with an RBI and two runs scored; Bailey Kossoff went 2 for 2, knocked in two runs and scored a third; Brice Schiano went 2 for 3 with an RBI. The Panthers (2-5-2) will host Cypress Creek Friday.
