Flag Football downs Gateway

Flag Football continues to roll on unblemished as they polished off host Gateway 33-0 to improve to 3-0. DP built a 14-0 halftime lead when Kaylee Messina connected with Malia Harrison for a pair of touchdown passes. In the third quarter, Messina hit Jade Cheek for a four-yard touchdown pass and followed up with a 15-yard scoring pass to Tiffany Tolbert. With a 27-0 lead, the Panthers capped the night with a sensational touchdown run by Jah-Nay Anderson off a pitch from Tiffany Tolbert for the 33-0 final. Messina completed 21 of 30 passes for four touchdowns; Malia Harrison hauled in nine receptions and two scores; Tiffany Tolbert caught eight passes with a touchdown and two interceptions; Jade Cheek brought in five receptions with a touchdown and two interceptions and Sophie Lamarche registered an interception as well. The Panthers will host Oak Ridge tonight in the Spoone. 

JV Flag Football earned their first victory of the season as they shut down Gateway, 13-0. Seriah Hall's touchdown pass to Sierra White put the Panthers (1-2) up 7-0 at the half. In the fourth, Hall found Cameron Williams for her second touchdown pass of the night to give DP the victory. Up next is a road game at Evans April 8th.
