3/31/2015 10:08:00 AM

Senior Ian Decker eclipsed his own school record for goals in a season, scoring four and assisting on three more, as Men’s Lacrosse slipped past host Apopka, 12-10. Decker, who set the mark last year with 65, has also established the record for goals in a career as he moved past Brett Forward’s total of 128 set from 2010-2013. Freshman Mike Berkman (goal, two assists) has also etched his name into the record book for the second time as he moved past Brett Forward and Jason Sullivan for most assists in a season (formerly 52). Nick Forward scored two goals and added an assist while Tre’Len Johnston and Zach Conner scored two goals apiece. Connor Jackson added a solo goal and Mike Sesay finished with four caused turnovers and three solo clears. DP has now won seven straight games and, with a victory over Wekiva tomorrow night, is one win away from clinching their second consecutive Metro Conference Championship!
