12/17/2015 11:20:00 PM

For the ninth consecutive game, Women's Soccer needed just one goal to secure a victory...but they got three anyway as the Panthers rolled to yet another shutout win, 3-0 over First Academy. Gianna Fischetti's goal in the 25th minute off a Jayla Mullin assist turned out to be the game-winner as the Panthers (10-3) went into halftime up 1-0. In the 50th minute, Fischetti assisted on Shae Vevera's goal and Caitlyn Brown iced the game with a penalty kick goal in the 78th minute of play. Sophomore Launa Foreman registered her ninth consecutive shutout victory in goal.

JV Soccer also pitched a shutout as they stymied First Academy, 4-0, to improve to 6-3 on the season. Sophia Belloli found the back of the net twice while Lexa Davis and Nisa Costa chipped in a goal apiece. Both teams will be back in action after the break with a home mach against Timber Creek January 5th.
