Men's Water Polo holds off Lake Nona

Men's Water Polo surged to a 6-0 first half lead, got just enough second half offense and relied on stellar goalkeeping from Tyler Haugh in a tough 9-7 victory over Lake Nona. Freshman Max Meisenheimer led the offensive attack with four goals, assisted on a fifth and added two steals while senior Parker Sellers fought off illness to finish with two goals, an assist and three steals. Senior Jack Campbell scored a critical goal with seconds left in the first half to break Lake Nona's four-goal run and also finished with a team-high three assists. Corbin Chamberlain scored a goal, assisted on two and added a steal and junior Jake Meisenheimer, who also battled illness during the game, finished with a goal and a team-high four steals. Junior goaltender Tyler Haugh had a tremendous night with 12 saves and four steals. Saturday, the Panthers will take on Ocoee and Wekiva in Winter Garden.
