Women's Swimming competes at the 2016 Spruce Creek Invitational

Women's Swimming 2nd at Spruce Creek

Women’s Swimming saw top three finishes in eight events, including first place in both the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay, en route to a second place team finish at the Spruce Creek Invitational. Kayla Smith took home the top spot in both the 100 fly (59.26) and the 100 back (59.97), Maddie Magrino won the 200 free (2:00.88) and placed third in the 500 free (5:25.65), while Paola Hernandez won the 100 breast in 1:09.61. Second place finishes were turned in by Caroline Grzeszczak in the 200 free (2:07.03), Roseleen Olivares in the 200 IM (2:15.12) and the 100 fly (1:00.87), and Emma Chapman took home third in the 100 back (1:06.29). DP will honor their senior class of 2017 tomorrow when they take on Oviedo.
