Men's Swimming wins Spruce Creek Invite

Results have been passed on to us from this weekend’s Spruce Creek Invitational and Men’s Swimming had a tremendous showing, winning the eight-team event by 92 points over host Spruce Creek. Senior Jake Meisenheimer broke two meet records with victories in the 500 free (4:46.98) and 100 back (55.75). DP was bolstered by victories in all three relays, whoich accounted for 120 points, and top three finishes in four more events. Tyler Haugh took second in the 50 free (23.24) and third in the 100 free (50.87), Gavin Collins was third in the 50 free (23.80), Luis Ortiz placed third in the 500 free (5:08.19) and Stefan Klumb took third in the 100 breast in 1:10.70. The Panthers will host Oviedo tomorrow for Senior Day.
