Men's Swimming and Diving 3rd at MWCC

At the 2016 Metro West Conference Swimming and Diving Championship, the DP 200 freestyle relay team's dominating gold medal victory highlighted the day for the Panthers and led them to a third place team finish. Tyler Haugh, Gavin Collins, Max Meisenheimer and Jake Meisenheimer touched the wall in 1:31.65 and followed up later in the evening with a second place finish in the 400 free relay. Individually, DP had top eight finishes in every event: Alex Kaiser in diving (second), Jake Meisenheimer in the 100 back (second) and 200 IM (third), Tyler Haugh in the 100 free (second) and 50 free (fifth), the 200 medley relay team of James Sweet, Stefan Klumb, Daniel Magrino and Anthony Battestella (third), Gavin Collins in the 50 free (third) and 100 free (sixth), James Sweet in the 200 free (fourth) and 500 free (eighth), Luis Ortiz in the 500 free (fourth) and the 200 free (sixth), Max Meisenheimer in the 50 free (sixth) and 100 free (seventh), Daniel Magrino in the 100 fly (sixth), and Stefan Klumb in the 100 breast (eighth). DP will now focus on the District Championship Friday, October 21st, at the Aquatic Center.
