Women's Cross Country earns the runner-up trophy at the 2016 District Championship

Women's XC takes District Runner-Up

Juniors Isabela Bartczak, Hannah Waddell and Sarah Zamot all finished in the top 13 at the Women's Cross Country District Championship leading the Panthers to a second place team finish at Seminole State College. Bartczak crossed the finish in 19:38, good for fourth in the field of 72 runners, with Waddell (ninth) and Zamot (13th) close behind in 20:03 and 20:29, respectively. Sabrina Bahr was next through the shoot for DP at 23:11, placing 36th, while Roxanne Deisseroth closed out the scoring five with a 38th place time of 23:11. Valeria Reyes (23:15) and Sonoma Arnaldy (23:30) finished the field for the Panthers, who will now advance as a team to the Regional Championship next Saturday in Gainesville.
