Women's Cross Country earns the runner-up trophy at the 2016 District Championship

Women's XC places 10th at Regional

Junior Isabela Bartczak placed eighth individually of 116 runners with a time of 18:57 to lead Women's Cross Country to a tenth-place finish in the 16-team Regional Championship in Gainesville. Bartczak's finish qualified her to advance as an individual to Saturday's State Championship meet in Tallahassee. Junior Sarah Zamot also ran a strong race, placing 23rd overall in 19:51, while junior Hannah Waddell's 20:48 finish placed her 44th overall. Freshman Roxanne Deisseroth came through at 22:13, junior Sabrina Bahr checked in at 22:30 with junior Sonoma Arnaldy (23:48) and senior Valeria Reyes (24:34) completing the field for the Panthers.

On the Men's Cross Country side, junior Bo Ivey was the Panthers' lone representative at the Regional Championship, finishing in 17:21, good for 50th in the field of 133 runners.
