Men's Basketball dominates Lake Wales

In the final game of the regular season, Men's Basketball headed down to Bartow for the Stinger Shootout and pummeled Lake Wales, 64-40, to improve to 17-8 on the season. Daniel Love earned game MVP honors with 19 points, three rebounds and three assists while Je'Quan Burton turned in another exceptional performance with 14 points, six steals and three assists. Nick Smith collected ten points, eight rebounds, four assists and a pair of steals and Dante Love finished his day with ten points and three assists. The second-seeded Panthers will now focus on the District Tournament Wednesday as they'll take on third-seeded Cypress Creek in what amounts to the most important game of the season. Win and they will not only advance to Friday's championship game but also qualify for the Regional Tournament the following week. Tipoff is set for 6:00 pm at Oak Ridge High School.
