Men's Water Polo overwhelms Wekiva

Men's Water Polo saw 11 different players score goals, including four with hat tricks, as they pounded visiting Wekiva, 22-3, to improve to 2-0 on the season. Sophomore Dan Magrino collected three goals, three assists and a team-high five steals and sophomore Max Meisenheimer also notched three goals as well as three assists and a steal. Sophomore James Sweet picked up three goals, an assist and a pair of steals while junior Alex Kaiser scored three and added a steal. Plenty more that added to the onslaught, including Gavin Collins (two goals, two assists, three steals), Liam Creus (two goals, two assists, two steals), Gabe Madej (two goals, assist, steal), Issac Teran (goal, two assists, three steals), Collin Haugh (goal, two steals) and Jake Meisenheimer (goal, assist, steal). Senior goaltender Tyler Haugh finished with ten saves, two assists and three steals in three quarters of work and sophomore Anthony Battestella picked up two saves in goal before finishing in the field with a goal, an assist and two steals. Adrian Britto assisted on three goals and picked up a defensive steal. DP will get back into the pool next Thursday at Edgewater.
