Sophomore Max Meisenheimer scored a school-record 13 goals on 13-16 shooting to lead Men's Water Polo to a chilling 26-1 victory over host Edgewater. Meisenheimer scored ten goals in the first period alone and added three more to his total in just nine minutes of play the entire night to eclipse Evan Staton's previous mark of 12, set in 2014. DP (3-0) saw sophomore Gavin Collins and sophomore Isaac Teran score three goals each while sophomore Gabe Madej and freshman Adrian Britto picked up two goals each. Sophomore Dan Magrino and freshman Collin Haugh added a goal, two assists and two steals apiece with senior Jake Meisenheimer (three assists, eight steals) and sophomore James Sweet (three assists, three steals) were strong on both ends of the pool. Sophomore Anthony Battestella turned away four shots in goal and added a goal, five assists and five steals. The Panthers will host Boone Wednesday night at 8:00.
