Sophomore first baseman Kati Kelly went 3-3 with a home run and a double, scored three runs and knocked in a career-high six runs as Softball hammered visiting Edgewater 16-0 in four innings. Sophomore pitcher Raychel Trocki struck out nine of the 14 batters she faced and allowed just one hit to improve her record to 14-3 on the season. DP (14-4) erupted for six runs in the first inning alone, highlighted by consecutive RBI doubles from Alexa Wexler and Hannah Eden as well as an RBI base bit from Tiare Kong. In the third, Kati Kelly cleared the bases with a three-run double to push the lead to 11-0 and delivered again in the fourth with a three-run, inside the park home run to finish the game on the mercy rule. Hannah Eden finished the day 2-3 with an RBI and scored twice. Tiare Kong went 2-2 with two RBIs and scored twice while Nini Underwood was 1-2 with a walk, three runs scored and swiped three bases. DP has now won seven straight games and will host Cypress Creek Friday.
