Junior third baseman Hamzah Nobles had a career-day at the plate, going 4-4 with two doubles, an RBI and four runs scored as Baseball blasted host Central Florida Christian Academy, 14-1, to push their season record to 17-7. Nobles now has six hits in his last seven at-bats to raise his batting average to a team-high .431. DP tagged the Eagles for four runs in the first inning, five more in the second, and stretched five more runs over the next three innings to trigger the mercy rule finish in the fifth. August Haymaker was the pitcher of record, firing three no-hit innings while striking out four to pick up the win. Haymaker also got the job done offensively with a single, double and a run scored in three trips to the plate. CJ Cantwell and Will Sullivan knocked in three runs apiece as DP banged out 14 hits as 15 of 16 batters either drove in a run or reached base. The Panthers will close out the regular season at home Thursday against Wekiva with a pregame Senior Day celebration.
