2017 Women's Swimming and Diving

Women's Swimming wins eight events

Women's Swimming had a great day at the top of heats, winning eight of 11 swimming events, but depth issues prevented them from winning the actual meet as they fell to Lake Mary (103-77) and Olympia (99-81). In the 200 medley relay, Kayla SmithPaola HernandezRoseleen Olivares and Caroline Grzeszczak took the top spot, as did the 200 free relay team of Smith, Sam Horency, Grzeszczak and Olivares. Individually, Caroline Grzeszczak won both the 200 free and the 100 free. Roseleen Olivares placed first in the 200 IM and 500 free while Kayla Smith took the 100 fly and 100 back. Sam Horency placed second in the 50 free, as did Paola Hernandez in the 100 breast. Windermere will be DP's next challenge coming up Wednesday.
