After a busy weekend that saw the Panthers win a pair of games and lose three tough matches, Women's Volleyball bounced back to beat First Academy in five games Monday night to improve their record to 13-5. DP rolled the Royals in the first set, 25-14 but dropped the next two (19-25, 13-25). The Panthers knotted the match at two games each with a 25-18 victory in game four and held off the host Royals, 15-13, in the decisive fifth set. Milexa Cardona had one of her best outings of the season with 40 assists and 18 digs while Alicia Virthe powered the offense with 12 kills. JV Volleyball extended their win streak to seven games with a tough win over TFA 25-23, 24-26, 15-7.

DP continued their murderous schedule Tuesday night in the House of Payne as they battled highly-ranked West Orange but the Warriors had too much firepower in a 25-15, 25-11, 25-12 victory over the Panthers. Mallory Porcher was the offensive standout for DP with six kills. on a brighter note, JV Volleyball continued their torrid pace, extending their streak to eight straight wins, as they swept West Orange 25-20, 25-20 to move their record to 8-1.

Friday night saw the varsity Panthers pick up a solid tournament victory over Spruce Creek, coming from behind for a three-set win, 16-25, 25-23, 15-13. DP would drop the next two matches, though, to Lake Mary in three and Trinity Prep in three as well, to place them in Saturday's bronze bracket. After falling to Miami Gulliver in a nailbiting three set match, the Panthers rebounded with a two-game sweep of Timber Creek, 26-24, 25-12 to place third in their bracket. DP will now head out for a four-game road stretch beginning with Ocoee on tap for Thursday night.
