2017 Women's Swimming and Diving

Women's Swimming overwhelms Windermere

With victories in eight of ten swimming events, Women's Swimming cruised to a 175-109 victory over visiting Windermere wednesday at the Aquatic Center. Junior Kayla Smith picked up two victories in the 100 fly and 100 back while senior Caroline Grzeszczak took home the top spot in both the 200 free and 100 free. Roseleen Olivares continues to swim well as she captured both the 200 IM and the 500 free, while sophomore Sam Horency brought home the 50 free title. Smith, Olivares, Paola Hernandez and Grzeszczak teamed up for victories in both the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay. DP also had a string of second place wins with Alyssa Hyman (200 free), Sam Horency (100 free), Paola Hernandez (100 breast) and the 200 freestyle relay team of Ashlyn Ferreira, Mariana Porto, Allison Perley and Alyssa Hyman. Up next for DP is West Orange next Wednesday with the Metro West Championship set for October 11th.
