Senior Luis Ortiz finished second in the field of 71 runners and highlighted an amazing team effort as Men's Cross Country saw all ten of its runners break personal records in a second place finish at the District Championship. Ortiz came through the shoot in a blistering 15:41, the seventh-fastest time in school history and the first DP runner since 2010 to break the 16-minute mark. Senior Bo Ivey was next through in a personal-best time of 16:33 to place sixth overall while senior Micah Martin placed 13th in a PR 16:57. Anthony Venturini (17:15), Adam Berriz (17:21) and Joshua Matzner (17:22) placed 20th, 21st and 22nd, respectively, all in personal best times. DP also saw record times set by Kervenster Azor (17:44),  Damon Perez (17:46), Emanuel Seroka (19:35) and Daniel Manzella (20:16). With the second place team finish, the Panthers advanced to the Regional Championship next Friday in Flagler Palm Coast.
